PurPlay Lubricants Glide Onto Retail Scene

CHEYENNE, Wyo.—Making its bid for publicity today is a new line of personal lubricants called PurPlay. The products are marketed by Keys, a brand that is part of the Wyoming-based Orion Learning Intl, Inc. The company uses herbal extract blends and vegan oils to “create fun personal lubricants that either stimulate, relax or heighten the sexual experience.” The line includes three formulas, all of which the company asserts are “based on the science of stimulating a woman’s pleasure receptors.” But the company's co-founders hasten to add that the lubes will also enhance “the intimate play experience for men.” And they play well with condoms. Keys CEO Wendy Steele explains, “Over the years, we have had many requests from our female customers to produce a natural personal lubricant that puts fun back into sex.
