Axel Braun Serves Up 2nd Helping of 'Brown Sugar'

CANOGA PARK, Calif.—The sequel to Wicked Pictures' AVN Award nominated interracial release Axel Braun's Brown Sugar is available now in stores and at Wicked.com. Featuring September Reign on its cover in a follow-up to her breakout performance in Brad Armstrong's urban drama Ethni•City, the movie also stars Braun regular Honey Gold (Inked 3, Short Hair Don't Care, Specs Appeal 2), as well as Jenna Foxx, Mya Mays and Daya Knight. "After seeing the success of the first volume of Brown Sugar, it became my goal to shoot for Axel in a volume of this great series," Reign said. "So when the opportunity came, I jumped for it. My only mission was to give the scene my very best, better than ever before, which I absolutely did ... but I never thought I would be chosen for the cover. Just being in the movie was more than enough for me. "Then one day I stopped by the Wicked Pictures office," she continued, "and while waiting in the lobby I picked up the May issue of AVN magazine and there I was ... I was so shocked! I'm so happy and so grateful to be a part of the Wicked family!" Braun may be best known for his blockbuster parodies—he currently appears on the cover of the June issue of AVN in a shot from the set of his upcoming Deadpool XXX—but he has also garnered accolades for his all-sex releases, such as Axel Braun's Dirty Talk 2 starring his "Wonder Woman" (from 2018 AVN Best Parody Justice League XXX), Romi Rain. "I love all-sex movies," Braun said. "Big movies are fun, but it's also months and months of work, planning every shot, storyboarding every scene, dealing with costumes ... all-sex movies have a spontaneity to them which I actually need in order to keep my sexual perspective fresh and experiment with new equipment and new angles. It also helps me tremendously with the casting process—many of the actors that make an impression on me in all-sex movies end up in my big productions, so it's a very organic process."
