'Training of Poe' Feature Has Dual Coast Premiere

The Training of Poe is a trans lesbian leather lifestyle BDSM training documentary, artistically directed by professional and lifestyle dominatrix Mistress Bella Vendetta. The Training of Poe follows multiple AVN-nominated and Trans-100 recipient Chelsea Poe as she travels to the mountains of western Massachusetts for an intense three-day slave training at an old guard leather household. This feature-length documentary has been accepted into several film festivals worldwide, and recently won a "feminist porn award" at the 2017 Toronto International Porn Film festival. The Training of Poe is having its world premiere in Seattle at the SECS fest September 8, and will also have its New England premiere on October 16 in western Massachusetts near where it was filmed, at Images Cinema, 50 Spring Street, Williamstown, MA 01267. The film will also be shown on October 21 at Eastworks, 116 Pleasant Street, Easthampton, MA 01027. Both Massachusetts screenings will begin at 7 p.m. This schedule hopefully gives fans two chances to see the film, with director Bella Vendetta and star Chelsea Poe doing a live Q&A after the film. Tickets are sold on a sliding scale basis, from $5-40 the day of the screenings, and $10 presale. For teasers, trailers, stills, reviews and more info, click here. Both events sponsored in part by generous donations from YanaTallonHicks.com, which features adult sex ed, kink, queer, poly and sex work-friendly counseling including couples counseling, and OhMySensuality.com, a woman-owned body-safe sex-positive toy shop, both in downtown Northampton MA. Large portions of the proceeds from both events will be donated to Tapestry Health Organization in Berkshire County.
