Wicked Fêtes Stormy Daniels' 'Unbridled' With Hollywood Party

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Wicked Pictures' new Stormy Daniels feature Unbridled was celebrated at a release party at Le Jardin in Hollywood Friday night. Daniels told AVN that Unbridled is a "forbidden romance. Secret lovers from feuding families." It was shot mostly on location. "I made everybody go to Texas. There were a couple of sex scenes we shot in L.A. but 80 percent of the movie was shot in Texas. And we had the most unpredictable thing you can have in a movie: Animals. We were worried about the weather. If it had rained, the movie would not have been called Unbridled. "It would have been called Unemployed," she added with a laugh. "It was really wonderful to play that forbidden romance with somebody that's truly in love with you," performer Michael Vegas said of his character, who romances Daniels' sister, played by Lyra Law. "It put some emotion into it. My father is the asshole land baron trying to take away everybody else's ranch. She has to ride against me to win her ranch back." The production includes drone footage and sequences shot at local Texas equestrian competitions. "We didn't use any stock footage," Daniels told AVN. "Jake Jacobs and Andre Madness were the videographers, and David Lord did the drone shots. "It's Wicked's first big release for the Passions line," Daniels said. "The first epic Passions. The script was 58 pages. Michael was brilliant, as was Lyra Law. Lyra took riding lessons in advance. I wasn't going to make Lyra ride at all—my best friend in Texas was her stunt double—but she kicked it up a notch. Jake Jacobs was not only our director of photography, he played my dad. If he doesn't win Non-Sex Role, I'm going to break something. Dick Chibbles did triple duty: He had a sex scene, he was the editor, and he was the fight choreographer." At the Friday night party, attendees also included Melissa Moore, Miranda Miller, Kayla Paige, Allison Moore, Nickey Huntsman, newcomer Karma Rx, Jake Jacobs, David Lord, Dick Chibbles, and James Bartholet, as well as Carter Cruise, who was DJing at the club. Unbridled is set for release on DVD Tuesday.
