Jeff Dillon Reportedly Detained Following Run-In With Protestors

SAN FRANCISCO—A man detained by police Wednesday, June 21, following a run-in with a few dozen protestors in San Francisco is believed to be Jeff “Dillonaire” Dillon, though police have not yet verified his identity. A story published Wednesday on SFGate.com said a man on a red motorcycle steered toward the protestors. The publication reported the motorcycle is registered to Dillon, and a photo gallery published with the story show a man who appears to be Dillon being surrounded by police with their weapons drawn, and later handcuffed and sitting on a short brick wall. Dillon is the vice president of business development for GameLink. AVN reached out to Dillon for comment, but he declined. “The red 2015 BMW motorcycle captured in photographs is registered to San Francisco resident Jeffrey Dillon, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles,” SFGate reported.  According to reports, the protestors were staging a “die-in” to protest the Republican healthcare bill at an intersection on Seventh Street; initial plans were to have people lie in the street for 10 minutes, and the group was roughly 7 minutes into the protest when the motorcyclist drove the wrong way on the one-way street and revved the engine several times before driving forward; several protestors can be seen in videos and photos of the incident scurrying to get out of the way before the motorcyclist drives through the intersection. SFGate reported witnesses at the scene said the motorcyclist yelled at those in the intersection, “If you want to go to the hospital, here you go” and “You will have health care if you stop protesting,” and after he was detained by police reportedly told some of the protestors, "You were blocking the intersection and now you’re not. See how that works?” A cell phone video of the incident was uploaded to YouTube.
