CSPH Opens Curiosities Online Auction

PAWTUCKET, R.I.—The Center for Sexual Pleasure & Health has opened up bidding on Curiosities: An Online Auction to Support the CSPH. In addition to the chance to win great prizes, bidders also have the opportunity to help clients of the CSPH win as well. Auction items range from mid-century modern vintage to unique oddities to exciting adventures and experiences guaranteed to delight and surprise.  But even those who bid and (unfortunately) don't win can get a second chance at redemption. The Refer Friends feature of the auction is a fast and easy way to get friends, family, and co-workers involved in supporting sex ed. Bidders are asked to refer others to the auction and help raise awareness of the CSPH’s cause of advancing culturally inclusive, medically accurate and pleasure-informed sexuality education, therapy, and professional training. A list of Top Referrers is noted on the auction homepage. The names of those who direct the most individuals to the site via the Refer Friends feature are mentioned on the entry page. Those who are Top Referrers at 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, April 14, will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a free ticket to the CSPH's 2nd Annual Sextended Family Reunion in Belgrade, Maine, this June. The raffle winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 2. Proceeds from the auction can help The CSPH and its clients in the following ways: • $150 helps fund printing of CSPH’s most popular educational pamphlets - Understanding Lubrication and Being Sexual After Assault: Reclaiming Your Sexuality • $300 subsidizes mental health services for a low-income therapy client for five sessions  • $500 covers one full tuition scholarship to the Sexual Attitude Reassessment for one member of the Women of Color Sexual Health Network • $1,500 helps build up the Internship Program Fund to offer aspiring sex educators and therapists a reasonable stipend for their work • $3,200 covers the cost of an eight-week support group - Loving Openly - for folks navigating non-monogamous and open-relationships  The Curiosities: An Online Auction to Support the CSPH is open now and runs through 10 p.m. EST Sunday, April 30.
