The CannaPornia Show to Debut, Discussing Cannabis and Porn in CA

As everyone who reads AVN must know by now, there's a certain crossover between those who perform in adult entertainment and those who smoke pot—so get ready for CannaPornia, a new, adult-themed radio show debuting on LATalkRadio.com this week. The show is produced, written and hosted by Mofo, and he promises sixty stoned minutes of live, funny, nasty talk all about the cannabis and porn lifestyles in California—and with a little MMA mixed in as well. CannaPornia will have its live video-streamed debut this Tuesday, January 10, at 8 p.m. Pacific. The debut show's guests will include legendary porn star Rebecca Bardoux, male porn star Nat Turnher and "new breed" porn star Norah Nova. In general, the show's theme will be the mix of the current "porn lifestyles" in California that use and support recreational marijuana. Mofo has dabbled in the porn industry on both sides of the camera since 1997 as a non-sex actor and a director. In 1997, he wrote and directed Adventures of the Fart Bitches starring Nina Hartley. In 2005-2006, he also wrote and directed both volumes of the Sick Girls Need Sick Boys series. Mofo also hosted adult radio shows on KSEX Radio, including Tushy Talk, which he co-hosted with retired star Flower Tucci, plus he has had several appearances on Playboy Radio's Night Calls show beginning in 2001. Other than cannabis and porn, another weekly topic on CannaPornia will be mixed martial arts (MMA), drawing on Mofo's experiences as a bouncer for 25 years in LA and Orange Counties. He also has family and friends that are professional MMA fighters and he trained in jiu-jitsu for a bit. One of Mofo’s main goals with CannaPornia is to spread the word that marijuana should be legalized at the federal level. Mofo’s been a cannabis user since 1975 when he was in high school. Mofo says, "Comparing marijuana to cocaine is like comparing Kool-Aid to whiskey." CannaPornia is a biweekly show airing each Tuesdays whose mission is to educate and enhance the positive side of living life on the stoned side, in what its host hopes to be the most entertaining 60 minutes on radio in years.
