Digital Playground Off and Rolling With Season 3 of 'DP Star'

LOS ANGELES—Digital Playground has kicked off the third season of its “DP Star” competition, which offers a group of hopefuls the chance to become the new face of the adult studio. This year, according to DP, “the contestants are hotter than ever, the stakes are higher and the challenges even greater.” This time around, 31 ambitious starlets were chosen out of approximately 2,000 applicants. And counterbalancing the new talent is a judging panel that possesses the experience and the know-how to pick a winner deserving of the DP Star title. Chief among these is Brazzers brand ambassador Nikki Benz, a porn world pro who's a top performer and a tough critic. Her male counterpart, a fixture bothe behind the camera and in front of it, is Keiran Lee, currently up for AVN's Male Performer of the Year award. Aria Alexander, who was last year’s winner of DP Star, will host the show. And, last but not least, two-time AVN Female Performer of the Year Tori Black will grace the DP stage. Black has always been a DP member favorite and was a top choice as a guest judge. DP Product Manager Samael said Black was “excited and on board as soon as she was asked to participate.” During the auditions, the girls endure a question-and-answer round, a sexy photoshoot and an acting challenge. Fans will get to see some of their favorite girls get wet and wild trying to impress the judges and guest male talent such as Toni Ribas and Charles Dera. Every episode will feature five to seven girls and fans will get to cast their vote for their favorite. Once those have been tallied, five finalists will be chosen to participate in an all-out, no-holds-barred and no-rules group session. But only one girl can walk away with the grand prize of $15,000 in cash, 10 guaranteed scenes and a leading role in the 2017 Digital Playground blockbuster. Second prize includes $7,000 and six guaranteed scenes, while the third finalist will receive $3,000 and four guaranteed scenes.
