MyFreeCams Crew Wraps Exxxotica N.J.

EDISON, N.J.—Roxy Raine enjoyed her first Exxxotica experience so much she stayed an extra day for one more round of live-camming from the show floor. “Oh my gosh, it’s so amazing,” Raine told AVN Sunday evening. “It’s so beautiful. There’s whips and furry butt plugs everywhere. It’s super awesome.” The 21-year-old brunette was supposed to fly back to her native Chicago early Sunday but decided she had not gotten enough of the unique rush that comes with performing in public while surrounded by fellow models at the MyFreeCams booth. Now a regular on MyFreeCams for the past six months, Raine said she came to the N.J. Convention & Expo Center “to network and go to a place where I feel like I can be myself sexually.” And no one stood in her way, not with Raine dancing around the booth Sunday in little more than dark blue lingerie and hot pink Nikes. At one point she even set up her laptop in front of the nearby stripper pole and showed off some advanced pole-dance skills for her MFC members. It was an eventful weekend for Raine, who is also a nursing student who worked at McDonalds for a year before she found her creative outlet on MyFreeCams. “I like to [hula hoop] and I like to dance,” Raine said. “I have a lot of energy, so I like to unleash that on cam.” Raine wasn’t the only first-timer rocking the MyFreeCams booth at the 30th nationwide Exxxotica convention, which packed in several thousand fans for three days of adult-themed festivities. SlimmKitten made the trip up the coast to the New Jersey suburb of Edison to celebrate what she called her “cam-iversary.” “Actually on the 9th will be my one-year anniversary that they accepted my profile on MyFreeCams,” SlimmKitten said proudly. “And I love it. I absolutely love working for the company. It changed me. It actually gave me an avenue where I can explore who I really am on the inside.” A native of Orlando, Fla., who was born in Trinidad, SlimmKitten told AVN she had to suppress her sexuality before discovering MFC. “When you’re in front of society you have to be a certain type of way. Some people frown on your sexual preference or your sexual desires and on MyFreeCams women who have those sexual desires can explore them and I love that,” SlimmKitten said. Prancing around in a skimpy black fishnet bodysuit and stockings, she revealed she tried stripping but didn’t find it as fulfilling or lucrative as camming. “I have as they would say a ‘white girl’s ass,’” she joked. “I love who I am and I love being here on MyFreeCams because I fit in. They’ve got all colors, all shades and all sizes. “Black men don’t really cater to me. They like my size on MyFreeCams. And I appreciate MyFreeCams for giving me the avenue to explore that and helping me build my self-esteem. Because if you can’t build your self-esteem on MyFreeCams something’s wrong. I’m here and I’m loving every minute of it.” So was Misty Blonde, a petite native of New England known as Misty_Kitten on MFC who has been attending shows for the past two years. “I’ve gone to all of them and they’re always bringing something different,” Misty said. “They take really good care of us. There’s a lot of different reasons why I come back. They make sure we’re OK. They always involve all the girls. Each time they’re trying to bring us more and more together.” Misty pointed to the Team #MFC table cloth backstage that models sign their names on as they come and go as one of the subtle touches that stimulates a sense of camaraderie among the girls. “Last time we were just drawing on the board and this time we’re doing [instant] photos, too,” she added. Misty, who is a trained singer and actress with previous experience doing theatre, said her shows are “really laid back.” “I like to get to know the people so when they come back to my room it’s like they come back to their home,” she continued. “I was so quiet and shy and then I was introduced as a cam girl and I enjoy it more than actually acting. With my singing I’ve been able to integrate it on cam. I’m trained originally in Broadway [style], but I can sing anything.” On the other side of the MFC booth, DandelionPuff entertained her members on cam while a small group of fans walking the floor stopped to chat with her. “This is my very first show and I was really, really nervous about it,” DandelionPuff, aka Lily, told AVN. “But it’s actually been really great meeting other models and even members. It’s exciting.” A native of Washington state who turned 20 on Friday, DandelionPuff said she actually won a contest for new models that’s run annually by MFC girl Miss Lollipop that got her expenses paid to attend this weekend’s Exxxotica. She started camming six months ago after hearing about it from her roommate. “I didn’t know that camming was really a thing until like a couple months before I started,” Dandelion admitted. “I kind of just was like I wonder what would happen if I did this, and I did and I found a community that I liked and felt really accepted in.” A self-proclaimed “workaholic” that cams almost every day, Dandelion helped run her family’s restaurant before doing web-cam work. She still helps out occasionally and her family knows about her new life. “Actually my family’s been really accepting of it,” she said. “My plan for this is to make money to be able to go to college. I feel like this is a good way to do this.” Speaking of higher education, SmartyKat314 told AVN she started camming non-nude three years ago not long after she graduated from college with her Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. She needed some quick cash to pay her rent and went for it—non-nude at first. “I would’ve had to move back in with my family after like three or four years on my own, so that didn’t seem like an option to me,” she recalled. Wearing “Kat fangs,” a sparkling green dress and a green MFC baseball cap, SmartyKat314 said she was attending her second Exxxotica show this weekend. Born in Portland and raised in Mexico and Colorado, Kat has resided in Arizona for past 10 years—currently Scottsdale—but said she’s moving to Las Vegas the day she gets back into town. “Ideally I will cam as long as I can but my long-term goal is I actually want to become a Buddhist monk,” SmartyKat314 said, adding that someday she would like to work with children and animals and live in a monastery. In the meantime she is “going for rank” on MFC as well as considering opening her own photography studio. “I’ve always been into photography and it’s something that comes easy to me,” she said. “I have the opportunity to shoot hundreds of top models.” On Saturday Kat was one of several MFC models to get professionally body-painted at the busy booth. “I loved it,” she said. “I’ve been body painted before, but I’ve never been body painted at a convention and that was one of the best ones I’ve had.” Without question it was another big show weekend for the traveling MyFreeCams team, which now sets up shop at more than a dozen shows annually around the world. The crew runs a tight booth that includes two big-screen TV’s with live feeds into various MFC chat rooms, a mobile charging station, comfy couches and a cozy backstage lounge generously stocked with free swag and rows upon rows of tasty snacks. It’s a model-first approach at MFC, which continues to refine its show presence with each outing, such as amping up its popular Snapchat account (@MFCLife2) that is passed around to models so fans can get more of a behind-the-scenes look at the controlled chaos. Those snaps later appear on MFC TV as "MFC Life."  Perhaps it was this weekend's MFC TV host Stefanie Joy who summarized the vibe of the show best. “There’s such a huge misconception between girls who don’t come to the conventions,” Joy told AVN. “I’m the type of person that I won’t do anything unless I’m comfortable with it and I just have to say that the top thing is they make us feel comfortable. “Girls are scared to come because they don’t know what it’s going to be like and it’s just a really safe environment and a really welcoming environment for us girls to get together and talk to each other.” Joy continued, “So that would be the first thing that I would say and then the second would be that I don’t make friends very easily because I’ve been treated bad by people before, so you kind of have that guard up. Coming to MFC kind of changed my whole opinion on making friends because I’ve met so many girls who are just like me and I realize there are good people. “So MFC has really changed the way I see things drastically—basically changed my whole life around.
