Fresh Faces: Elena Koshka

Hometown: Portland, Oregon | Age: 23 | Height: 6-feet | Weight: 135-140 pounds | Hair: Brown | Eyes: Blue Elena Koshka’s work name reflects her Russian heritage: “koshka” is a Russian diminutive for “kitty.” She clarifies, “It’s a cute little cat.” She grew up in Portland, Oregon, before moving to Los Angeles: “L.A. is so packed and overwhelming. I can’t imagine driving here. But there’s more opportunity. Oregon is more laid back and nobody dresses up fancy, they’re just walking down the road. Here, everywhere you look there are attractive people, going places, busy. No taking advantage of life like people do back in Oregon. This could be because of marijuana being legalized there.” She had been working in mainstream multi-level marketing “so I had free time on my hands. I went on CraigsList and found quick gigs for cash: sexual massaging and camming. I was getting into porn-esque type things, so I found an agent and here I am.” Koshka’s first scene was a therapy scenario where she was the daughter and older sister: “I wasn’t used to dialogue or having sex in that way in my personal life. It was a big scene to do for my first one.” She used it as a learning experience: “I saw it and I thought I looked awkward and amateurish. But a lot of people liked it. I learned what angles look good on me. You shouldn’t shoot me from too low: my nose turns up and you can see my nose holes all the time. And I look good in doggie.” The scene that she feels best about—although she hasn’t seen it—is a b/g for a plot-driven Adam & Eve scene that hadn’t been released when she was interviewed. “It was fun, all dialogue and voice-overs. He was a photographer I was lusting after, and I made he moves on him. I got to hang from a door, with straps around my arms and legs, and do a photo scene. I’ve never done anything like that, so it was a fun experience.” She has started getting more creative in her webcamming performances: “I like edible insertions. I’ve done fruits. Grapes. Strawberries. Solo webcamming gets boring after a while and you have to spice it up. It’s been going well. I’ll start at 10 a.m. and go till 2 in the morning. I have dinner on there. It builds up my fan base. I help some guys with their homework. It builds a relationship. I got 1,000 followers in a very short time.” Koshka is looking for opportunities to continue in adult after performing. “I want to keep moving up. Producing, possibly. Put yourself out there.
