The Most Offensive Halloween Costumes of 2016

Every year someone comes up with a costume that is offensive, politically incorrect, or just plain wrong. Last year it was the “Call Me Caitlyn” costume, worn by both fans and transphobes who are secret cross-dressers, and the “Pill Cosby” costume accessorized with quaaludes. Glamorously Tied Up Kim Kardashian This year, the biggest controversy so far has been the Kim Kardashian "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim" costume from Costumeish. The get-up includes a white robe, large sunglasses, rope, a mouth gag that looks very BDSMy, and a “fake $4 million dollar ring.” So many people complained about the $69.99 costume that it was pulled from the site. Comments ranged from “Insensitive!” to “Hilarious!” “Who better than goddess of all things glamorous and her ‘Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?’” says the description of the ensemble. "She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism, but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind. This Halloween, have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of social media," says the sicko who wrote the ad copy. A softer, gentler make-fun-of-Kim-Kardashian costume would be a do-it-yourself “Pregnant Kim Kardashian” in a skin-tight flesh colored dress with a big baby bump and even bigger butt pads. “The Burka Babe” Costume The “sexy burka” costume was removed from Amazon’s U.S. and U.K. sites after tons of complaints that it was offensive and “culturally insensitive.” A week ago the site told the Fox News Channel they weren’t taking the costume down, but one week and and more complaints later, it is suddenly unavailable. The costume, a black niqab-style veil with a mini dress, was removed after comments like “You're all disgusting racists. My culture is not your costume.” I know this is wrong, but is it just me or is this costume strangely sexy? “The Priest With a Secret” Costume “What a naughty priest you’ll be in this long black priest costume with long sleeves, white collar, and a hand pump that helps you keep it up … the faith that is,” says Candy Apple Costumes. With this costume, you can just pump up the boner like a penile implant for non-stop dick jokes all night long. And if you want to go with a couple’s costume, the company also sells a pregnant nun costume that they say is “great for women or men.” Anka Radakovich is legendary sex columnist, who wrote a groundbreaking column for Details magazine.
