Fresh Face: Interview With Bella Rose

LOS ANGELES—Bella Rose aims to please just as much as she loves to entertain. It’s a combination that is positioning the ambitious native of North Carolina for a breakout year in Porn Valley. “Sometimes I get carried away, I’m too passionate,” Rose admits with a laugh. “I’ve just always wanted to do this.” Indeed, the petite performer is making the most of her opportunities in the adult industry, which is embracing her go-for-it attitude and sexy southern charm. The 19-year-old starlet moved to L.A. in July to pursue porn full-time, going after a dream that she once considered “far-fetched” due to her small-town roots. “It’ll never happen,” she used to think. Rose made her debut in November 2015 after signing with L.A. Direct Models, doing her first round of scenes and then returning to the East Coast to prepare for her permanent move. During those early outings, she got enough of a taste of the business to reinforce what she already suspected. “I really loved it,” Rose recalls. “I eat, sleep and breathe the sex industry. I strip, I do webcam, I do porn. It’s always on my mind, so I knew I wanted to move here to do it full time. I had to strip and save up money, so now I’m here.” She continues, “It sounds really weird but when I wasn’t doing it, when I went back to prepare myself to come back, I would have dreams about it. And when I would be stripping I would feel like that wasn’t enough. I would just crave it. “So that’s how I knew I really want to do this. It’s a little bit stressful because I’m from a very, very, small town in North Carolina, so it’s a big change, but I’m excited.” Rose eased into adult entertainment by camming, creating the persona CupcakeBarbie with MyFreeCams on the day she turned 18. Six months later, she took what would be a pivotal road trip because “my town’s way too southern baptist to have a strip club.” “So I went an hour an away to a strip club and they liked me in the parking lot and said, ‘Do you want to dance?’ I was just going to watch, but I knew my intent was to dance. I was like, ‘yeah sure!’ And so, that’s where it began,” says Rose, who grew up in Boone, two hours from Charlotte, N.C. Her first scene was a four-way with Seth Gamble, Johnny Castle and Mara for NetVideoGirls; it was also the first time she’d ever had sex with more than one person. “I was very nervous but thankfully the scene had to do with me acting nervous so it fit well. Afterwards I was like heck yeah this is awesome I can’t wait to do more!” Rose says her next encounter was with Chad White in New Sensations’ Cute Little Things 3 for director Paul Woodcrest. “And I really like New Sensations, they’re fun,” she says. “They’re very professional yet still fun to work with. I enjoy their skits or whatever you call it—the ideas—and the pictures. I got to be cute; I like to be cute.” The fans do, too. Rose’s growing list of credits includes Digital Sin (Young and Curious), PornPros (Girl Next Door Likes It Dirty 8), Reality Kings (MomsBangTeens.com - Bride to Be), Zero Tolerance (Kittens and Cougars 10), Immoral Productions (Teens Trained to Squirt & Teenage Rampage 22), Lethal Hardcore (Girl Scout Nookies) and Naughty America (Naughty Office). The busy up-and-comer also has shot for Tiny 4K, Passion HD, Mofos, Colette, X-Art, CastingCouch-X, POVD, Vickyathome, WankzVR, VRPornLove and Elegant Angel, among others. Even when she was back home, Rose says she was visualizing hardcore scenarios. “Whenever I left I studied a lot of porn and I practiced on a guy I was dating,” she confesses. “And I just have tried really hard to do great performances and have fun and be as natural, but as entertaining as possible. So a lot of my new stuff is going to be really good when it comes out. “I’m really looking forward to Elegant Angel. I did It’s a Daddy Thing, where I fuck my stepdad. I think that will be a very good one. It was with John Strong. “And I did one with Mofos called Stranded Teens and there’s a lot of stuff that goes on in the car and it’s point-of-view. And we fucked in a tree basically, so that was fun. Lots of twigs up the butt.” Once again it was Chad White who did the honors for StrandedTeens.com. “I worked with him a lot. I like him,” Rose says, adding that “I really want to please. I am a people pleaser.” A student of the game who is always learning, Rose says there are certain performers whose scenes she’ll watch to hone her skills. Performers such as Elsa Jean and Megan Rain. “A lot of people tell me to look at Megan Rain, so I’ve looked a lot at Megan Rain. She’s also good. I do a lot of little girl roles right now because I’m younger, so I like to watch a lot of that. But no particular companies,” she says. It was veteran adult star Courtney Cummz who connected her to L.A. Direct Models when she had no idea how to break into porn. Cummz featured at Rose’s strip club in North Carolina. “Whenever Courtney Cummz came I just wanted to ask her how did you get into it? I was shy and nervous because she seemed like a big deal,” Rose remembers. “She thought I was cute and everything and she mentioned that I stood out from the other girls. She said well I’m going to give you my agent’s number. She told me to send pictures of myself to her which she sent to him. A month later I flew out here.” Rose, who has a background in musical theatre, reveals she loves listening to musicals on her Pandora. “My friends think I’m weird. I’ll be listening to Mary Poppins and my friend’s will be like, ‘what are you doing?’” “I enjoy shopping, typical girly kind of things,” Rose says. “I really just do eat, sleep and breathe porn, stripping and webcamming. My head explodes with it.” She also likes to go four-wheeling and fishing. Now she says her goal is go as far as she can in adult. “Oh yeah. I definitely plan on continuously doing this for a while and also camming and stripping—everything. I’m all in,” Rose says. “I’m ready for any scene, for whatever. I am excited and determined. Every time I do a scene I ask the producer or director, ‘what do you think I can do better?’ And I apply that to my next scene and I just strive to put on a better show and please people each time. I’m crazy.”
