Alexa Grace Discusses Porn Career

LOS ANGELES—Alexa Grace considers her advanced training in videography an asset as an adult performer. “I understand the angles, where they’re coming from and what they’re looking for,” Grace tells AVN. “I think it helps a great deal.” Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Film from a university in her native Orlando, Fla., the 21-year-old knows her way around a big production. After graduating last summer, she spent six months in Georgia behind a camera for various projects, shooting a music video, a short film and more. “I like creating the image that other people are seeing,” Grace says. “I think that’s really cool. I don’t want to be a [Director of Photography). I don’t want to tell people what to do. I’d rather do it.” During her time as a videographer she also was flying to L.A. every month to continue her still burgeoning porn career, juggling both until deciding to move to Southern California in January and focus on adult. Now represented by Nexxxt Level Talent as of July, Grace’s career is without question on the rise. The 5-foot-10 starlet, whose sultry look and sizzling sex scenes have led to both feature and gonzo bookings from nearly every major studio, already has amassed more than 70 credits. “I always liked coming out here,” Grace says. “I realized there was a big difference in just my mood when I came out here. I was a lot happier. I’ve been on the East Coast all of my life and it’s just a totally different world and it’s just convenient with doing cam modeling and doing porn. I like to be in L.A.” Grace, who cams for Flirt4Free, actually made her industry debut in February of 2014, but only shot a handful of scenes during her breaks from school. She says her path to the industry started out while she was on a mainstream shoot. “I was working on an independent feature and one of the executive producers asked if I did modeling,” Grace recalls. She decided to try it and began building a portfolio. “And then I got offers to do porn,” she adds, noting she was hesitant at first. “Because when you’re not really in porn you don’t really know what it is. I would say it’s like describing a color to a blind person—they’re just not going to get it. “Eventually I needed it financially, but I like sex. So I liked it as soon as I started.” Grace continues, “I liked traveling. I liked meeting all the people. I liked having sex with people that I know are tested. That’s always a big plus.” Before porn, the former high school cheerleader says she had probably slept with about 20 guys since she was 19. “To me at least that was a lot,” Grace says. “And now, I don’t even know.” Among her dozens of credits include high-profile performances for Blacked (Hot Wife Vol. 2, Black & White 6), Dark X (Black and Blonde), Erotica X (First Dates, Friends and Lovers) and Sweet Sinner (Come Inside Me 2). She has also performed in movies for Digital Playground (Horny Little Sister), Digital Sin (I Came Inside My Sister 3, When Siblings Attract 2, Lust Unleashed 5), Bang Bros (Monsters of Cock 57 & 59), Wicked Pictures (Public Penetration), Mike Adriano/Evil Angel (Young Tight Sluts 3), X-Art (First Lesbian Summer), Reality Kings (Moms Bang Teens 15), Girlsway (My Sexy Instructor 2), Teen Fidelity (Make ’Em Sweat 3) and Brazzers (Newbie); in addition, Grace has racked up more than a dozen credits for FM Concepts. “When I started I was just doing it. But now it’s like I’m striving to make better films,” Grace says, adding, “I’m working on my acting.” Grace especially likes shooting for Erotica X. “Just the crew, the talent, everyone is just awesome,” she says. “Even if it does take all day it’s still probably one of my favorites by far. Blacked is another one. I just like how professional they are. They’re not bullshitting you. It’s like, 'we’re here for a job,' which is nice. “It kind of sucks when you’re on a set somewhere and they’re just fucking around. I like working for Nubiles, too. They’re very laid back. Dogfart’s always been good. It’s sometimes the easiest scene and you wouldn’t think that because you’re dealing with like these rods. But you get them done in like an hour and you’re like holy shit, how did I do that?” Dogfart keeps the cameras rolling for the most part, she says. “Mandingo was probably the quickest scene I’ve ever shot and he’s the biggest dick I’ve ever seen. It’s insane. But it was really good,” Grace adds. She also complimented AVN Hall of Fame director James Avalon, who so far has shot her for Sweet Sinner and Erotica X. “He’s awesome. He takes really good pictures. I always like the way he shoots and everyone that I’ve shot with for him I’ve always had great chemistry with,” she says. Her wish list for upcoming shoots includes Jules Jordan Video and Hustler. “I’d love to shoot with Hustler,” Grace says. “I’ve done a commercial with them and done a photo spread for them, but never really shot for them. Penthouse would be another one. I want to shoot for Brazzers and Reality Kings and BangBros again. I’ve only shot for them a couple of times. I have a lot of favorite companies.” Meanwhile, Grace at press time was in the process of scheduling her first anal scene with Greg Lansky’s Tushy imprint. “I’m practicing. I’m trying…it was supposed to be in August but that’s not going to happen," Grace reveals. "I’m excited though. I want to do it. I want to do it so bad but I have to get used to it.” She says when she’s not shooting that she enjoys hiking. “And I cook every single day,” Grace says. “I like the arts. I just like creating stuff. And I love movies.”
