Exile Distribution Heralds Updated Kick Ass Box Art

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Founded in 1998, Kick Ass Pictures has built a loyal following among lovers of hardcore entertainment, especially those who favor certain niches such as the hairy, bi-cuckold and foot fetish genres. Its Barefoot Confidential series, for instance, has been a consistent AVN Award winner. Its familiar starbust logo is well known to Kick Ass devotees, but the Exile Distribution crew thought it might be time for a fresher look. According to Exile chief Howard Levine, the new look of the Kick Ass box art “has brought the product into the 21st century. The artwork was done by a very well-known box artist who does a lot of companies’ boxes.” But lest buyers just judge these boxes by their cover, Levine hastens to add, “More importantly the content is new and fresh and all shot on 4K.
