LukeIsBack.com Purchased By TRPWL’s Sean Tompkins

CYBERSPACE—TRPWL.com owner Sean Tompkins has purchased the adult industry gossip/news site LukeIsBack.com.  "Buying the site was something that I had wanted to do for a while. It is part of porn history, and over the years has fallen on hard times content wise,” Tompkins said. "LukeIsBack (LIB) was once considered a top source for industry news and gossip. When the site changed owners a few years back, the very popular comment section was closed and commenters were deleted. One of the first things I did was unblock everyone. "While TRPWL and LIB will share stories, LIB will deal more with gossip, twitter beefs and showcasing talent,” he added. LukeIsBack.com was the brainchild of Luke Ford. Ford’s love was gossip, and from about 1995 until the mid-2000s he post almost anything anyone told him, regardless of whether it was true or not. His first site, LukeFord.com, was sold to industry insider Scott Fayner for an undiscosed sum—he needed money to pay performer Christi Lake, whom he’d claimed had engage in sex with a dog—and then returned with LukeIsBack.com. That site was sold to Cindi Loftus in 2008, who operated it until the recent sale to Tomkins. A sale price was not immediately available, and it was not immediately clear if Loftus will stay onboard.
