NakedSword Film Works Presents 'Raspberry Reich GR'

SAN FRANCSICO, CA —NakedSword Film Works presents its fifth indie short film, Raspberry Reich GR, following 100 Boyfriend Mixtape, Hattie Goes Cruising, Catharsis, and Doors Cut Down, all playing exclusively on NakedSword.com. NakedSword Film Works was born to create and/or distribute independent gay shorts and features that combine sex with experimental filmmaking. Whether as a presenter, a producer or distributor, the goal of NakedSword Film Works is to offer a wider range of gay film product to NakedSword members. The latest offering, Raspberry Reich GR is an edgy, political short that will provide a look at the tension of being gay in Greece under a very conservative government while the economy has crumbled. The year is 2014 and Greece is under the shadow of conservative Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Things are looking grim for gay rights in Greece until a small group of horny gay men decide to take matters into their own hands. This witty homage to the Bruce LaBruce film The Raspberry Reich (2004) offers a fresh, sexually charged view of the gay community's relationship to politics and social media. The film depicts images of Greek leaders who helped lead the country to a financial depression that affects all of Greek society, especially homosexuals who are either treated as terrorists or forced to act like one.
