Metro Makes Switch to Shooting in 4K

LOS ANGELES—Metro Distributors has announced that beginning with this week’s productions all of its new titles will be shot in 4K ultra high-definition.  The first two 4K shoots for Metro Distributors included the latest volume of the Cal Vista teen series, Naughty Newbies and the newest Deviant Entertainment hardcore fetish production, Anal Domination. Both titles are scheduled for a May 10 street date. Metro-West general manager Bill Rix commented, “We felt it was important for us to stay ahead of the technology curve and offer consumers the highest production quality available. With the cost of 4K televisions coming down and bandwidth speeds increasing, more and more consumers are seeking out 4K content.
