Fresh Faces: Charlotte Cross

Hometown: West Virginia: Age: 21 | Height: 5-foot-4 | Measurements: 34C-24-36 | Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel Charlotte Cross comes from a small town in West Virginia and chose her name as an act of defiance: "My parents are very religious. They tried to suppress my sexual deviance growing up. I'm like, 'Now I'm in porn, guys. How do you feel now?' They're not happy," she adds with a chuckle. She finds her new environment positive: "Getting into this industry, you meet so many different types of people, people who are so open-minded, it's refreshing to me. I come from a place where people are closed-minded. I compare living back home to living in the 1950s. I want to be someplace where I can grow and there are endless possibilities. That's not the place you want to be, especially in your 20s." Cross started with pageant modeling and "did a lot of wedding gown modeling" while going to college. She started working in adult "end of February, first of March. Somewhere around then." She shot a hardcore three-way scene in New Jersey ("It was pretty overwhelming. I wasn't ready for it.") and then backed off to pretty-girl softcore in Florida before returning to hardcore "and it's been a whirlwind ever since." That initial scene had an impact on her: "When I was in Florida I tried to help so many girls. They weren't given the necessary tools they should have to know their rights as a performer. I tell them 'You can say no.' I was always going to be proactive in my own career and take the reins. I'm saving my money and investing in my financial future. The best thing you can ever do for yourself is invest in yourself." Her initial scenes were done under the name Charlotte O'Ryan. ("I didn't get nerdy and spell it like the constellation.") She has done "less than 25 scenes, probably six or seven boy/girls," plus a couple of b/g/g and two orgy scenes. "I love orgies. There were a lot of penises there and I had a lot to choose from." She is a double major in biology and sociology at a four-year college, with plans to become a doctor of osteopathic medicine. "I'm constantly doing little things here and there to strengthen that resume for med school." She is looking forward to Adult Expo: " I'm excited because I'm brand new to the industry and I feel it's going to be another whole side that I'm going to get to see. People will be all dressed up and it's not going to be about politics and shooting. We're going to be there to have fun." Charlotte Cross is represented by Nexxxt Level.
