ASACP Included In HuffPo Article On Fight Against Child Pornography

LOS ANGELES—The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection was mentioned in a recent article by the Huffington Post about how tech companies are fighting against the online exploitation of children. According to the article, Apple, Facebook, Google Twitter and more sent reps to the WeProtect Children Online Global Summit in Abu Dhabi to discuss the progress made to date in combating the exploitation of children, as well as discuss future tactics. The article notes that each month, ASACP receives as many as 12,000 reports of child pornography. At the WeProtect Children Online Global Summit, attendees agree to find new ways to support the Global Fund to End Violence Against Children, as well as develop new tools and better techniques to better detect and remove images of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
