Call for 2016 Sexual Freedom Summit Workshop Proposals

WASHINGTON, D.C.—For seven years, Woodhull's Sexual Freedom Summit has been an established forum for the national discussions of sexual freedom as a fundamental human right—and Woodhull CEO Ricci Levy has announced both her plans for the 2016 Summit as well as a call for both seminar and workshop proposals. "We will be envisioning the changes we want to see in this world and discussing how we secure those changes," Levy announced in an email to supporters. "We're inviting you to share your work and your passion, whether your focus is the white picket fence or the dungeon, LGBTQI rights or reproductive justice, community organizing or lobbying, social media or sexuality education. "This year we plan to offer several tracks in addition to all the fabulous sessions you've enjoyed in the last seven years. The tracks will focus on Sex Work; Disability and Sexuality; Racial Justice; and Men's Sexual Health and Pleasure. "We are delighted that the Sexuality and Aging Consortium of Widener University will again be partnering with us for a full-day of programming on Thursday, August 4. If you want to be considered for that Training Institute, be sure to check the box on the submission form." But Levy makes it clear that she can't do it all alone. "Please share this call for proposals with your friends, acquaintances, colleagues, and family. We want to reach out to everyone working for sexual freedom. "We invite you to submit a workshop proposal and present your projects, ideas, issues, and concerns from the vast array of sexual freedom issues on August 4-7, 2016 in Alexandria, VA  at Woodhull's 5th Annual Sexual Freedom Summit.
