Fox Sports Interviews 'Fantasy Sports Guru' Lisa Ann

CYBERSPACE—It hasn't been very long since Lisa Ann announced her retirement from XXX movies, but she's spent that time wisely: becoming an expert in the growing and lucrative fantasy sports industry—and she's attracted enough attention in that field that she became the subject of a Fox Sports interview by former European pro basketballer-turned-writer Flinder Boyd. The article is full of interesting info about the buxom brunette perhaps most famous for her starring role in Hustler's Who's Nailin' Paylin? parody, including her real last name; her clever plan to get noticed by Larry Flynt before coming to L.A. to get into porn; her $5,000 per night gigs at strip clubs; the $10K per month she earns from sales of her branded Fleshlight; her dalliances with many, many pro athletes; her use of human growth hormones to control her psoriasis, which drugs gave her a "ripped physique"—and her many nights/early mornings watching sports highlights on TV, which she said became her "only stability." Ann had also had a show on Sirius XM radio called "Stripper Town," but when fantasy sports started to take off, the company, which with 24 hours per day to kill was looking for more fantasy sports content, offered Ann a job hosting "Lisa Ann Does Fantasy"—even though, at the time, she knew little about the subject. "But Ann had a unique advantage," Boyd wrote. "When she was off-set during her 15-year career as a porn actress, she estimates she had sex with hundreds of professional athletes—baseball players, football, basketball, hockey. Her life revolves around these two key elements—sex and sports—and she gets a lot of both. To call her a groupie, or 'groupie extraordinaire' as one blog said, would be too easy. While some women have sex with celebrities for status, athletes often line up to hook up with Ann for the prestige it brings them." And so, the legend was born—and fans can read all about it here.
