Owner Looking To Sell The Spot Boutique In Dallas

DALLAS—Nick Zarbin, owner of the upscale adult store The Spot Boutique in Dallas, is looking to sell the store. The store is located at 19177 Preston Road, Suite 175, Dallas, TX 75252. The Spot Boutique opened its doors in 2012, and has since been on the forefront of the sex-positive culture in Dallas. The Spot Boutique offers a clean and safe environment for couples, women, and men to find everything they need to achieve sexual wellness. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide a sex-positive environment in which Dallas area resident can ask questions, learn, and elevate their love life. Harbin said he wants to step away from the store to focus more on his family’s medical company. My parents are aging and are unable to give it the attention to detail that company requires,” Zarbin said. “Therefore, I need to step up and take over that company. I am interested in speaking to interested parties who have liquid funds and are serious about making a deal. Financing is not an option.” The Spot Boutique—which currently stocks a variety of pleasure objects, lubricants, lingerie and smoking accessories—is 3,000 square feet and is centrally located in Dallas.  “What helps us out is the demographics of the area we are located. Further, we are just one block south of a major freeway,” Zarbin said. “The store has profited since its first month in business. We are located off one of the busiest intersections in Dallas (The drive by count is 50,000 cars per day). Also, we are fortunate enough to serve a higher-end client base who doesn’t mind spending money. We have an increase in revenue every year for the past three years. And there are no signs of it slowing down.” Zarbin said some local companies have approached him about the space, but he is more interested in selling to an adult store chain looking to enter or expand in the Texas market. The timing is ideal, he noted, as Dallas is experiencing a population boom. Dallas is the 2nd fastest growing in the city (2.1 percent per month). In 2014, the Dallas Metropolitan area had a population of 6 million. In 2020, the projected population is close to 8 million. Toyota and State-Farm Insurance are in the process of moving their corporate headquarters about 10 miles north of where The Spot Boutique is located, he said. “Just these two companies coming in have boosted our economy like no other,” Zarbin said. “We are experiencing housing shortages and home price bidding wars. (Most people are getting more than their asking price for their homes).  “It’s a good start for a company trying to get into the Texas market,” he continued. “Anyone who has tried to open adult in Texas knows it’s not easy at all. City, county and landlord restrictions have kept many stores from opening. I am a firm believer that the best way to grow a business (and get into Texas) is to expand through acquisitions.” Interested parties can contact Zarbin by phone at (469) 230-0673 for more information or to discuss a possible sale.
