Pipedream's Love Dolls Blow Up on 'The Daily Show'

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Some 3.5 million people tuned in to bid farewell to host Jon Stewart on his final episode of The Daily Show, making it the second most watched episode in the Comedy Central's show's history (Barack Obama's guest appearance brought in 3.6 million). In addition to an all-star cast of former correspondents, a slew of guest appearances and a finale provided by New Jersey native son (and Stewart fave) Bruce Springsteen, there were also some familiar, er, faces: four blow-up beauties straight from the Pipedream Products factory. Even for Pipedream—which is no stranger to the mainstream spotlight, having made appearances on CNN, Sons of Anarchy, Shameless and many other TV shows—it was a nice bit of media exposure. For the #JonVoyage episode, the satirical news program offered a look backstage to salute the crew members who make the show possible. As the camera tracked through the production offices, it captured the faces of writers, producers, editors—and a foursome of Pipedream's infamous blow-up dolls. "It's for the show," one assistant muttered as she brushed by. "We're very excited to consistently see our products reach such wide audiences," said Digital Marketing Director Brian Sofer. "This type of exposure solidifies that Pipedream is relevant in pop culture and that we continue to create products that pique the public's interest." A multi-award-winning manufacturer with more than 40 years in the pleasure product business, Pipedream offers more than 2,100 products to choose from.
