The CSPH Announces ‘An Affair to Remember’ Fundraiser Even

PAWTUCKET, RI—The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health invites the public to its “An Affair to Remember” fundraising event. Held Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 6–9 p.m. EST at Fête Music Hall (103 Dike Street, Providence, RI 02909), the event celebrates The CSPH’s fifth year as a sex-positive adult educational organization. “We are thrilled to host our supporters and community members in celebration of this milestone,” said Kira Manser, Program Manager. “This evening is both about looking back and honoring the foundational work done by leaders in the sexological field, as well as looking forward to all the ways The CSPH can continue building in the future.” The unique fundraising event will feature an art installation entitled "A Place at the Table," inspired by Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Plate." This will be a one night only exhibit, showcasing dinner plates crafted by local New England artists. Each plate honors a significant moment in the history of the field of sexuality, and will be auctioned off during the event. The night will also include music and light hors' d'oeuvres, with one free, custom-crafted, signature CSPH cocktail and one gift bag for each attendee. Additional silent auction items will also be available, ranging from wellness packages to a weekend stay in the Berkshires. Funds raised by this event will help The CSPH support its mission; the Center’s goal is to raise $20,000 towards providing comprehensive and pleasure-based sexual health and education services. Tickets are available here. Donations may also be made here. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The CSPH is tax-exempt; any donations made to The CSPH are tax-deductible.
