Wicked Pictures Celebrates Big Wins at 2015 XRCO Awards

LOS ANGELES—At the 2015 XRCO Awards, an event that draws many of the adult industry's major players, Wicked Pictures stars Jessica Drake, Asa Akira, Brad Armstrong and Axel Braun took their place front and center to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues ... and collect some accolades of their own. The star-studded soiree was held Saturday night, April 11, at Hollywood's Lure Nightclub. Now in its 31st year, the industry-only event began on a poignant note, with the induction of Axel Braun's father, legendary adult film pioneer Lasse Braun, into the XRCO Hall of Fame. The latest director to join the Wicked family, Braun would make several trips to the stage over the course of the evening. His breakout Wicked Fairy Tales hit, Cinderella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, received Best Parody – Drama, while the overall quality of his output in the genre was rewarded with Best Director - Parody honors. These new accolades represent Braun's fifth Best Parody and fourth Best Director trophies from the XRCO, respectively. The sponsoring group—the X-Rated Critics Organization—stayed true to its commitment to "giving writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the yearly best." Among those honored was Wicked contract star Asa Akira, who took home the Mainstream Adult Media Favorite award. When they weren't winning awards, the Wicked Girls were presenting them. Contract star, director and sexual wellness authority Jessica Drake joined Akira on stage to present some of the evening's top awards. Wicked Pictures congratulates 2015's XRCO award winners.
