PornDoe.com Offers Fans a 'Clean, Safe and Legal Site'

Click here to see the issue online.   At this year’s AVN Awards Show, one of the big attractions was the pre-show red carpet, when adult entertainment fans flock to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to watch the stars parade along the red carpet, which runs through the casino floor. Their end goal is the media wall, where a phalanx of photographers shoot portraits of the performers in their finery. And behind them is the backdrop, with the AVN Awards logo prominently featured along with that year’s sponsors. In photos from last year as well as this year, the blue ImLive.com logo pops out on the white backdrop. But this year there was a new logo in the mix: PornDoe.com. PornDoe launched at the Internext Expo and models wearing PornDoe shirts could be seen during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo; both shows also took place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, right before the AVN Awards. According to a spokesperson from PornDoe, “All shows were productive and great for business. We spread the PornDoe brand out. There’s a lot of work ahead, but it's a process.” What, exactly, is PornDoe? We asked the folks behind this new site a few questions about this new venture. How would you describe PornDoe.com?PornDoe is a legal platform for content producers to get their brand and identity recognized. There’s no need to worry about the content on our site because it is 100 percent licensed and legal; all the content you see on the site was agreed with beforehand with partners/producers. Regarding the user, PornDoe is a site where people can find everything they wish when it comes to porn, in an anonymous way.What does PornDoe mean? How did you come up with the name?PornDoe comes from John Doe/Jane Doe, meaning that when you are watching porn, it can be your "secret life" that nobody needs to know about; you can use PornDoe to escape from your real life and have fun anonymously.Where does the content on PornDoe come from? Is it all user-generated or is content also curated on the studio channels?There is NO user-generated content for now. And when we'll have that on the site, it will be STRICTLY amateur and with the legal documents required. We have no automatic uploads because we avidly ensure no stolen content goes up on our site. Content comes from those interested in a legal partnership in which we offer ample advertising to partners in exchange for their content.What is PornDoe’s business model? How does it make money, and how does it make money for its channel partners?Like most tubes, advertising is a general source of income. However, with us, given that our partners make up a large portion of the content pool, we generate revenue from affiliate sales via the ample advertising we offer them. We are currently working on a premium area which will be the first tube to offer EXCLUSIVE products versus a generic DVD product, which will be ready shortly.Is PornDoe part of a larger ecosystem with plans for global domination? If so, can you give us a peek at those plans and where PornDoe fits into them?We believe that PornDoe is the future brand for free porn. We are VERY adamant about our content base being aboveboard; we do not buy traffic nor rely on shady back links. We are quite simply an organically growing community of porn lovers who appreciate a clean, safe and legal site. We cater to the masses by translating our meta data in five different languages, which allows content partners to reach a broader audience with their content; being relevantly tagged for different countries where they would normally only get English. Furthermore, our brands will get more and more traction and they will all point back to PornDoe as the source.Give us your very best pitch for why PornDoe is different from all of the other sites offering reams of free porn to consumers. Why is PornDoe better?We produce content and understand the pains of having it stolen. Porndoe is different because of its nature and relationship to producers. PornDoe was also the FIRST tube site to sponsor the AVN Awards, being on the red carpet. Additionally, PornDoe plans on doing some rather risqué campaigns in the near future that will definitely cause a lot of attention. Why has this type of site not been made before? Because it is not cheap to fund such an endeavor and most people in this industry on the free side are looking for the quick buck. We believe in a long-term, sustainable business to offer long-term, sustainable performance to our users.
