UK Vintage Railway Gets Grief Following Brazzers Shoot

UNITED KINGDOM—The bad news is that following the public spanking Epping Ongar Railway has received after letting Brazzers shoot a porn video at the heritage railway in Essex, the likelihood of another porno ever being shot there is nil. The good news is that Brazzers can lay claim to having the only porno shot at Epping Ongar Railway. Assuming this story is not a tall tale (it being April 1 and all), The Telegraph details the outrage levied on the so-called "family-based business" by "parents [who] have slammed the decision to allow American adult film company, Brazzers, to shoot a 28-minute film..." The article continues, "The film—which includes a brunette woman dressed in school uniform having sex on a train—has already been viewed more than 235,000 times. The footage has come to attention of fuming locals just days before hundreds of children flock to the railway for their annual Easter egg hunt." Holy huevos! The paper quoted one upset mom, Amanda Mendel, a mother of two from Ongar, who quipped, "They advertise it as a family-based business but one minute it's Peppa Pig and Father Christmas and the next it's an orgy train." Hmmm. An orgy train. Not a bad idea. The verbose Mendel was not done, however. "You can't stop businesses doing what they want but it doesn't seem right," she complained. "It makes you wonder what went on in the train." No need to wonder. Pop on over to Brazzers if you're that curious. She continued, "If you are advocating something as a business for families you can't do that—it's not on, I am mortified. As a mother, I would be reluctant to take my kids on there again knowing that has gone on. I think it's disgusting." Inevitably, rants like that forced the railway to quickly issue an apology. Epping Ongar's business development manager elaborated, "We have made the railway available for commercial hire on a number of occasions to generate money for our projects and running the trains. Earlier this year we took a decision to allow an adult film, subject to certain conditions, to be filmed on the railway. "We are sorry that our decision may have caused offence." he added. "It is clear that this decision was an error of judgment. We can confirm that we have put in place a policy to refuse any further approaches for this kind of production." What's kind of interesting about this is the relative speed with which people find out about a shoot that in earlier times might very well have flown under the radar for weeks or months. Not anymore. Like politicians' foolish genital tweets to online paramours, even small local businesses need to learn the unfortunate lesson that even being a location for online porn is forever and ever and ever. We might add that the idea that no hanky panky has ever taken place on a railway that opened in 1865 is simply impossible to take seriously. Even English mums know that trains  by their very nature are conducive to erotic thoughts and actions. In that sense, the Brazzers shoot was likely just another notch on the belt of a lovely British railway. Photo: The Epping Ongar Railway circa 1980.
