Latin American LiveCams Expo Set to Take Place July 12-14

MEDELLIN, Colombia—Live webcams and other online adult entertainment niches are a global growth industry, and that's certainly true in South America. One place to learn about the industry is at the Latin American Livecams Expo (LALExpo), which is holding its second annual confab in the cosmopolitan city of Medellin, Colombia. This year’s event will be held July 12-14. LALExpo organizers bill their even as the first of its kind in Latin America, and this year's incarnation marks the first time an event like this has been held in Medellin. The annual networking event brings together adult entertainment leaders from around the world and introduces them to the adult business infrastructure in South America. This year’s event will feature workshops and seminars aimed at anyone in the adult industry—not just cam companies. Event organizers tout the benefits of the new location, including its "beautiful women, beautiful countryside and beautiful weather all year round," with "stunning mountain landscape and colorful flowers." The historic city is also rich in art, culture and entertainment, as well as being a center of industry and technology in Colombia. According to organizers, last year’s event had more than 500 attendees. This year’s event is expected to draw at least 800 attendees, due both to the new venue and the increasing popularity live cam entertainment. Some of this year’s expanded sponsorship opportunities include live cam sites, payment and payroll solutions, adult talent agencies, employers, porn producers and production companies, solo model sites and programs, software solutions for models and cam studios, and national and international studios and models.
