GameLink: Holidays Create Rise in Sales of Incest-Themed Porn

CYBERSPACE—The year-end holidays spurred a sharp rise in sales of incest-themed porn, says a new study conducted by leading adult e-tail site GameLink.com. The holidays yielded a 178.75 percent average increase in the consumption of family role-play porn between October 1, 2014 and January 9, 2015 by American consumers using the popular adult e-tail site. Family role-play porn is defined as any movie containing fictional acts of incest between adult performers pretending to be related. “The holidays are a time for family and clearly, it brings out a certain fascination for this kind of role-play porn showing the fantasy of taboo relationships among family members,” said Jeff Dillon, vice president of business development for eLine.com, parent company to GameLink.com. The study shows Utah had the highest increase with 765.14 percent during the time period. Michigan was next with a 698.21 percent increase, followed by New York with 669.24, Alaska, 524.22 percent; Arkansas, 452.36 percent, Virginia, 385.14 percent; and Texas, 288.25 percent. The states with the least change in purchases made were Arizona, with a 5.65 decrease, and Kansas, with a 4.65 decrease. Ohio’s increase was only 4.98, followed by Pennsylvania with a 5.98 increase; Washington state, 7.98 percent; Illinois, 9.89 percent; Colorado, 10.25 percent; and California with 15.20 percent.
