Playboy TV's Lola Bastinado Announces Thyroid Cancer Diagnosis

NEW YORK—Playboy TV Host and sex advice columnist and educator Miss Lola Bastinado announced she’s been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  "I think the word cancer in itself is scary and highly intimidating to most," Miss Lola said. "I know when I was diagnosed, I felt as if the world literally just stopped. However, we are fortunate to live in a day in age where early detection allows many of us a fighting chance when it comes to treatment. I will be having surgery and treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering and I am extremely positive and hopeful. My surgeon as well as the rest of the staff at Memorial are truly magnificent and have brought Me great comfort through their support and education of the cancer I am now dealing with. With all the accomplishments I’ve had in life, cancer survivor will be another that I intend to add to my list.
