Porn Star-Studded Season Opener of 'SOA' Aired Last Night

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Last night, cable network FX aired Black Widower, the 75-minute final season opener for its hit series Sons of Anarchy, and once again, a number of adult performers have industry veteran Howard Levine to thank for getting them union work on the highly regarded (and still brutally violent) television drama about an outlaw motorcycle gang. Levine, who serves as the show's adult casting director, responded to an email from AVN with a list of all the adult performers who appeared last night. "Misty Stone, who was featured, Daisy Marie, Natasha Starr, Natalia Starr, Cassandra Cruz, Alexa Aimes, and Vicki Chase were all in last night's episode," he said. "Misty Stone was killed off last night, so she won't be back. The rest of the girls and others will appear throughout the season." Levine added, "It is without a doubt a great honor and privilege to be working this year on Sons of Anarchy, the final ride as the adult casting director. It is the number-one-rated show on cable, and is seen all over the world. Last night's premiere drew a record number of viewers. It is great exposure for our stars. It is so much fun working with the girls on a mainstream project; they all are very professional. Sometimes it was like herding a group of cats, but always fun." In an announcement issued separately about her appearance on the show, Stone said, "This was a pretty intense and bloody scene, and I want to thank the director and the cast and crew who all made it a fun and memorable shoot to work on. I'm looking forward to working on more mainstream projects in the years to come." Of the overall experience, however, Stone could hardly contain her happiness. "It was the most epic and amazing experience of my life to date," enthused the star. "This is one of my all time favorite television series, and I got to be a part of it. I feel like I'm floating on air right now. Is this real? I've worked so hard for so many years almost a decade and now the whole world gets to see my talent. I'm speechless, baby. I crossed over. This means so much to me as a black female adult film star to be given an opportunity like this to work in the mainstream industry, and I'm really appreciative. I hope this will be an eye opener and a gateway for other young black adult stars to work in this industry as well. We're finally getting a chance to shine, and I love it, baby!" Stone also co-stars on a Cinemax series, Co Ed Confidential Season 4. In even another announcement issued about their appearances on the Sons of Anarchy episode, Natasha and Natalia Starr, Layton Benton, Alexa Aimes and Mia Isabella all expressed their appreciation for the opportunity. “My sister and I had a wonderful time shooting for Sons of Anarchy,” said Natasha. “I remember telling Natalia this is something we would love to do more often.” Younger sister Natalia added, “We are so grateful for the opportunity; this is huge!” Mia Isabella, who can be seen behind the warehouse bar, stated, “I’m so proud of being a part of the first episode of the last season; it’s downright historical.” Alexa Aimes, who twerks her way around the wild biker party in the episode, was also thrilled with the mainstream visibility and opportunity. “I had a blast being a part of SOA," she said. "They got my sense of humor right away, and would joke, ‘Here comes trouble!’ when I walked by. I thank them so much for being so awesome, and allowing me into their television ‘home.’” Layton Benton, who can be seen arranging cups at the bar, commented, “It feels fantastic to be seen by millions of people, on one of the best dramas in the history of cable television. All I can hope is that there will be a lot more to come.” In addition to the above stars, it was also reported last month that former porn queen Jenna Jameson will apear on SOA this seaon, on an as-yet unannounced episode. Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
