CCBill Helps Clips On Demand Release New Features, Reach More Roku Customers

TEMPE, Ariz.—CCBill, a global e-commerce solutions provider, announced today that Clips On Demand, an online provider of fetish media, is making content available through the Roku streaming player distribution system while leveraging CCBill processing services. This business model is also being complemented with a series of updates Clips On Demand is releasing, which are already being met favorably.     “We’ve been developing some new features to support the Roku model and are seeing upticks in subscriptions resulting from those efforts,” said Alfonso Reyes of Clips On Demand. “These enhancements, coupled with CCBill’s widely-recognized payments platform, are having a cumulative effect of driving consumers and content producers to our Roku distribution system.” New features Clips On Demand has released include: the ability for studios to select where their 15 second preview begins within a clip, an updated admin panel that allows for up to six files to be loaded simultaneously, a dedicated studio owner page with up to 500 characters for producer biographies, and a slew of banner ad placement options. Each of these additions is proving to be popular with producers, as is the inclusion of CCBill payment processing. “Having CCBill in our system immediately provides the stability and peace of mind to producers that offer clips, and the consumers that purchase them. They can rest assured knowing the payments portion of the system is good-to-go,” added Reyes. Once consumers add the Clips On Demand private channel to their Roku player, they can choose from three subscription options and pay with CCBill in order to access content. “As technology changes we are seeing more and more consumers adopt and use newer media devices,” said Gary Jackson, managing vice president of sales and Internet markets for CCBill. “While we develop fresh methods and tools for reaching these viewers and other new markets, we are thrilled to be working with innovative companies like Clips On Demand as it develops solutions to meet growing consumer trends.” Clips On Demand’s private Roku channel features around 100 high quality clips. More clips are always being added, though Reyes indicates they are being somewhat selective in order to maintain video quality integrity. With more than 8 million devices sold in the United States, Roku has almost 25 percent of the streaming market. This trend favors Clips On Demand as it looks to add additional channels and partner with more A-list producers. Producers also have the option of opening their own clip store online, which makes it easier for Roku subscribers to find and purchase media.
