Phoenix Marie is 2014 jGrrl of the Year

CYBERSPACE—Juliland.com announced today that adult performer Phoenix Marie has been named the 2014 jGrrl of the Year. In making the announcement via the company blog, owner/photographer/director Richard Avery also used the occasion to announce the other winners of the 2014 Juliland Awards, now in its third year. "Last year, our winners were well deserved and needless to say, unstoppable forces of nature," reads the blog post. "This year, they’re bigger and better than ever. Allow your curiosity to kill you and take a look at whom the Juliland staff elected to our 2014 royal court, and perhaps most importantly, what ladies joined our Hall of Fame." Avery also posted the news to GFY this morning, but his first order of business there was the announcement that Phoenix Marie, who was July's jGrrl, is the 2014 jGrrl of the Year. "We are honored, grateful and just fucking excited to give this award to her," he posted, "but even more thrilled that she said, 'It means a great deal to me, not just because - ha, ha, ha, ha he loves me more than everyone else! - but because of the friendship I have with Dick. If tomorrow Juliland vanished, I would still want to see him as much as our schedules would allow. He spends a lot of time in the straight-jacket these days. Just saying. LOL.'
