OhMiBod Launches Indiegogo Campaign For App To Control Vibes Long Distance

PORTSMOUTH, N.H.—OhMiBod, creator of the original music vibrator, has launched a campaign on the crowdfunding website Indiegogo that will allow individuals to use a smartphone to control their partner’s vibrator over long distances using a Wi-Fi-enabled OhMiBod Remote App. OhMiBod combines a state-of-the-art app with award-winning product designs to give users real-time control over their partner’s vibrator using an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet. Designed for solo or partner play, users can choose from an unlimited number of vibration patterns using five different control modes: voice-to-vibration, touch control, tap and save, accelerometer and preset patterns. The Indiegogo campaign will run from May 6 through June 19. OhMiBod has set a $20,000 goal, which will enable them to complete the addition of Wi-Fi capabilities to the OhMiBod Remote App, making it available for purchase by July 2014. There is an existing, free version of the OhMiBod Remote App that uses a Bluetooth connection. It was developed for their forthcoming smartphone-controlled line, blueMotion—a next-generation wearable vibrator that received rave reviews following its launch at CES 2014. With the addition of Wi-Fi capability, the OhMiBod Remote App will give users real-time control over their partner’s vibrator whether they’re 10 or 10,000 miles apart.
