Skweez Media Launches Roku Channel

SANTA MONICA, Calif.—Skweez Media has announced that all films available on its network are now also available for viewing on home television screens via the Roku set-top box. "We’re thrilled to be able to offer Skweez Media films through Roku,” said the company's Executive VP of Content and Marketing, Mike Kulich. “By offering our network’s films to be viewed on television screens, we invite fans of adult content to watch in the comfort of their living rooms rather than being tethered to their computers.” Roku is a stand-alone set-top box that streams video from a variety of internet sources. Users enjoy movies and TV shows, live sports, music, games, and other content on-demand by connecting directly to TV sets via IPTV delivery systems. Taking advantage of OTT (Over The Top) delivery, Roku owners can also access Skweez Media’s adult movie library. Current Skweez Media users can install the Roku application and link their existing account by going to their Skweez Media account page. Once the application has been installed, the user will need to do a Roku system update, which will install the application on the Roku device. Roku boxes are sold at numerous retailers for as little as $59.99. Once a unit is purchased, a Skweez Media account can be linked. Skweez Media President Jamey Kirby, who oversees all tech developments related to the network, stated, “By allowing Skweez Media content on television screens via the Roku set-top box, we are able to offer the best of adult programming in the same way the public views mainstream television network offerings.
