Barrett Blade Heading to Vegas for AEE

VENICE, CA—Every year, hordes of excited porn stars, along with eager fans, flock to Las Vegas in January to attend the Adult Entertainment Expo as well as the AVN Awards. This year will be no exception as this week the fun kicks off at the Hard Rock Hotel. Among them will be acclaimed director Barrett Blade whose work this year has earned him several nominations and whose commitment to the industry has earned him the recognition of being entered into the AVN Hall of Fame. “It's an amazing honor,” Barrett said, “to be recognized by your peers for all the hard work and love you put into your craft. What makes this even more special is that I get to share the moment with my close friend Eric Masterson as well, who has worked alongside of me since I first got into the business. In 2013, award-winning performer-turned-director Barrett Blade shot a series of high profile movies including Harvest Moon and Bikini Bandits for Wicked Pictures,  Pony Tales for Reign Productions & Girlfriends Films, and Just In Beaver Fever for Devil’s Film. His attention to detail and his hard work won him a slew of rave reviews, earning the respect of some of the industries toughest critics. By awards season, the up-and-coming director had been rewarded with five nominations for the AVN Awards, including the highly coveted Director of the Year award. Barrett was also recently featured in the Daily Beast online, in retired porn performer Aurora Snow's column, where he talked about his wildest moment in adult of last year as well as his hopes for the industry this year. Founded by Tina Brown,  former editor of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, the site boasts upwards of 15 million unique visitors per month, ensuring that Blade's observations will reach a wide audience.
