Christians Refuse Compassion to Revenge-Porned Teacher

CINCINNATI, OHIO—An unnamed teacher at a Christian school in Cincinnati, who was suspended from her job December 2 after it was discovered that topless photos of the woman had been put on a "revenge porn" site without her knowledge, resigned Monday. The woman, who is married, filed a report November 24 that her iPhone had been stolen after the photos were posted November 23, according to WCPO, but despite being the victimized party, the school and parents simply seem glad to be rid of her. While one parent fully recognized that the teacher was "already a victim," she nonetheless told the TV station, "But this being a Christian school, parents are upset that a teacher is even taking naked pictures and sending them to people—and...her students are old enough to get online and Google their teacher's name and the photos come up." Did she not get the memo that the woman's phone was stolen? For its part, the school, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, expressed its relief at her resignation with religion-speak. "We respect this decision and are thankful for this teacher’s ministry while here at CHCA," said Marketing Communications Director, Jennifer Murphy. We thought she was an academic teacher, not a minister. The school says it isn't being insensitive to her plight, however, adding that no further information would be released "out of respect for her family's privacy and due to the sensitive nature of the circumstances." It's heartwarming to see that the administrators and parents of this Christian school are so deeply imbued with Christ's message of love and forgiveness, especially as his birthday approaches.
