Barrett Blade Nominated for Director of the Year, 4 Other AVN Awards

VENICE, Calif.—Barrett Blade is having an amazing year. With hit releases Harvest Moon and Bikini Outlaws (Wicked Pictures) raking in praise from editor's and fans alike, not to mention his parody work for Devil's Films, his name has become a regular feature on the top of industry sales charts, making him one of the most highly sought after directors in the business. And just when it seemed things couldn't get any better, the actor-turned-director has raked in 5 nominations for the upcoming 2014 AVN Awards, including the highly coveted Director of the Year. Blade has also scored two Best Director nominations: Best Director – Feature for Bikini Outlaws, and Best Director – Parody for Just in Beaver Fever from Devil’s Film. Just in Beaver Fever also earned him a nomination for Best Screenplay and Bikini Outlaws one for best Non-Sex Acting. “I want to thank my team for all their hard work,” Barrett said. “I'd also like to thank Wicked Pictures and Devil's Films for always believing in me and giving me the chance to do what I love most.
