Nikki Phoenix to Work On New EDM Music Project With DJ Nilsson

LAS VEGAS, NV—With numerous high-profile hosting events to her credit in Las Vegas and other cities, Nikki Phoenix has reached another highlight in her career, beginning work on her first music release in her favorite music genre, Electronic Dance Music (EDM). The collaborative effort will be a joint effort with renown EDM DJ DJ Nilsson, who is the resident DJ for legendary Las Vegas hotspots XS, Tryst and Drai's. Director/producer/promoter Miles Long, whose close connections to the entertainment and music scene in Las Vegas made the union possible, thought the pair would make an amazing music making team. "Nikki has already hosted numerous major events in Las Vegas at well-known venues, and she has a great voice, as well as a true passion for EDM just as I do," said DJ Nilsson. "After talking with my good friend, award-winning director and producer Miles Long, we thought it would be a great idea to have her do the vocals on my next release, and we've already begun work on the track. We're looking forward to debuting the first song during the AVN weekend in January!" "My first job out after graduating from college was as a club promoter for the now legendary Sound Factory San Francisco, so to say that I have a passion for EDM is an understatement," said Miles Long. "I've grown up with it and it is truly part of my life. My good friend DJ Nilsson is one of my favorite DJs anywhere, not only because of the amazing vibe he brings to a room when he spins, but also because he shares a deep love of EDM and has a passion for creating it himself." It has been a busy year for Phoenix, with appearances not only in mainstream movies such as 21 And Over and television including the Maury show but also her appearances and interviews being a spokesmodel for Twala Intimates, a high-end lingerie company based in Seattle, and Crimestopper Security Products, where she is the voice for their flagship FS-99 Fortress Alarm. These have all given her mainstream exposure that has helped her straddle the fence between the mainstream and adult worlds. In addition, her book Fit As A Phoenix has just been finished and documents her unique approach to health and fitness, her weight loss as well as her recipes for cooking healthy meals to go along with one's workout schedule. In conjunction with that, her interviews with both Sssh.com and Xcitement magazine have both come out this month. Both articles document her women, health and sex positive outlook on life, as well as her journey and experiences in both Mainstream and Adult. "We were delighted to have Nikki on as a guest for our ongoing series of interviews with women from all realms of the adult entertainment industry," said Angie Rowntree, publisher of Sssh.com. "She's just a breath of fresh air and we absolutely LOVE her views on sexuality, health and sex-positive advocacy. We'll be sure to have her back on our series as soon as her next book comes out!"
