‘Women Seeking Women’ Named Best Ongoing Series at NightMoves Awards

VALENCIA, CA — Girlfriends Films’ flagship series Women Seeking Women was named Best Ongoing Series at the 21st annual NightMoves Awards, held October 13 at the Tampa Gold Club. The award is the latest accolade presented to the longest running lesbian erotica line on the market.  “We are overjoyed to have NightMoves acknowledge Women Seeking Women as Best Ongoing Series,” says Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose. “As the series inches towards its 100th volume, the award serves as a testament to its popularity and to Girlfriends Films’ commitment to keeping the sex and storylines fresh. Our many thanks to NightMoves for this inspiring honor.”  Past awards bestowed on Girlfriends Films from NightMoves include 2012 Best Production Company, 2012 Best All Girl Release (Please Make Me Lesbian 7), 2012 Best Feature Dancer (Prinzzess), and 2011 Best All Girl Release (Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 19).  Women Seeking Women is the longest running and most successful lesbian erotica series of all time. The series’ continued quality and popularity are evident in the six consecutive Best All-Girl Series awards from AVN Media Network. In addition to the numerous accolades from AVN, the series earned the Best Girl / Girl Series award the past four years in a row from XRCO – 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.  Girlfriends Films will release the 100th volume of “Women Seeking Women” in December. To commemorate the milestone, the studio turned to its fans to select the four bonus scenes to be included on a special two-disc DVD set. On Twitter and Facebook, fans were encouraged to submit their favorite scenes from the bestselling series, spanning the past 11 years. The four most frequently submitted scenes will be included on a second bonus DVD for Women Seeking Women 100.
