Industry Vet Edward Ronemus Dies

BALTIMORE—Edward Ronemus, a 30-plus veteran of the adult novelty industry and a 12-year member of the Komar Company family, has died. The 71-year-old Ronemus, of Laurel, Md., died Sept. 8 at Washington Adventist Hospital. Ronemus was born July 16, 1942, in Washington, D.C. Outside of his professional life, he enjoyed golf at the Bowie Golf and Country Club and enjoyed his classic car group, The Church of the Holy Donut. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife of 27 years Tommie Ronemus; children Dawn, Butch, Todd (Kim), Carrie (Mike), and Debi (Bryan); sisters Darlene (Jack), Kathy (Linda), Gina, Cheryll (Bill), Patti (Mark), and Pam (Paul); 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; many nieces , nephews, brothers-in-law Sam and Scott and sisters-in-law Cathy and JoAnn. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bud and Connie Halfpap. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707.
