Scores Atlantic City Opens Tonight

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—The $25 million adult entertainment Scores complex is set to open tonight within the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. The 36,000-square-foot adult destination has been eight years in the making. "I would say this is an adult entertainment complex, the first of its kind in the United States, especially to be within a hotel casino,” Bob Gans, managing member of Scores Atlantic City, told NBC40. “That has never been done." Featuring a sports bar, an outdoor deck, over 100 dancers and 12 private VIP rooms, the complex is offering free admission for the debut weekend. But not every tourist interviewed by NBC was thrilled with the news that a massive new adult entertainment complex is opening. Edger added, "Well I'm sure they are not going to have people in the windows and it is going to be discreet, so even if it is inside you're not going to really be able to tell, but as far as investing into something like that, you know, there is enough of that around here," said one. But another tourist was itching to get inside, telling the station, “I’m waiting for the opening! I'll be there with bells on—everything will be perfect. This is the fall season.
