Eroticon Crossing the Pond For October Event

ATLANTA—After two successful years in the United Kingdom, organizers of Eroticon—a conference of resources and events for writing about sex—is crossing the pond and conducting a U.S. version of Eroticon in Atlanta. Eroticon USA will take place Saturday, Oct. 19, and feature a full day or workshops and discussions about sex and writing. The conference, organizers said, will provide “a unique opportunity to network with your peers, other sex bloggers, erotica writers, publishers and leaders in the adult industries.” The conference will take place at the 595 North Event Center in Atlanta. In addition to the one-day conference, there will also be social events scheduled throughout the weekend for more networking and fun, according to organizer Ruby Kiddell. Eroticon is the UK’s only conference for sex bloggers and erotica writers, it was conceived by writer Ruby Kiddell who hosted Eroticon 2012 in Bristol. “If you are sex writer, blogger, editor, publisher, journalist, performer or artist Eroticon 2013 will be the networking event of the year,” event press releases state. “Meet with like-minded people and leading voices of the erotic industries, make new contacts and learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment.” Early-bird tickets are now available at a cost of $130.
