Exile Picks Up Sparks Entertainment for Distro

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Exile Distribution has brought aboard director Harry Sparks' new production outfit Sparks Entertainment. The exclusive partnership commences with the big budget thriller The Vampire Mistress, due out early next month. Sparks Entertainment will produce six titles per year under the deal, according to Exile owner Howard Levine. The Vampire Mistress follows Sparks' much-hailed comedy of last year for AMKingdom, Revenge of the Petites, also distributed by Exile. "Harry has left [AMKingdom parent company] ATK and struck out on his own," Levine said. "Vampire Mistress has all the elements of another award winner. Harry is known for his eye for detail and special effects, plus incredibly hot sex scenes."
