Kink's NakedKombat Takes to the Mat For New Season

SAN FRANCISCO—Kink.com has launched a new season of NakedKombat.com, bringing the popular wrestling site back with a showdown between Leo Forte and Tyler Alexander.  The match—the first round in a four round, four-week battle—marks a new phase for the popular site. Rather than self-contained matches, viewers will follow performers over a series of weeks as the competition plays out. This is good news for affiliates, according to gay marketing manager Michael Stabile, who said the extended matches increase consumer commitment to the site. And unlike the other Kink Men sites, he added, it appeals to a broad base of fans. “NakedKombat is unique in the Kink Men family,” Stabile said. “It’s an entry point for mainstream gay traffic, and it’s traditionally been our strongest converter with affiliates. There’s a fetish element to it, but it’s not intimidating. It’s hot guys wrestling for top.” NakedKombat.com has been one of Kink Men’s highest converting sites since it first launched, but production was paused while Kink launched gay edging site MenOnEdge.com in May. With NakedKombat’s production restart, the Kink Men slate now spans more of the gay fetish market than ever: wrestling, edging, BDSM (BoundGods.com) and public humiliation (BoundInPublic.com). But Stabile says that Kink Men is just getting started. “We recognized that there’s a need for well-produced, high-converting fetish content,” he said. “A lot of our competitors are scaling back, but we see this as a chance to expand into new sectors of the market. We’re growing each month, and reinvesting it our productions.” Affiliates looking to promote the new season of NakedKombat can do so at KinkyDollars.com, or by contacting Stabile at stabile@kink.com.
