AVN Starlets of Summer Take Over Hard Rock Hotel

LAS VEGAS—Guests at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this past weekend got a little extra dose of the true rock 'n' roll experience, as in their midst mingled a contingent of the world's biggest porn stars, there to officially kick off the promotional campaign for the 15th annual AVN Adult Entertainment Expo—which will culminate with the 30th annual AVN Awards Show—returning to the Hard Rock January 16-19, 2013. The "AVN Starlets of Summer," as they were dubbed, counted in their ranks two-time AVN Female Performer of the Year Tori Black, 2012 AVN Fan Awards sweeper Riley Steele, 2011 AVN Best Porn Star Website winner Joanna Angel, 2011 AVN Best New Starlet Gracie Glam, 2011 XRCO New Starlet Chanel Preston, Wicked Girl Alektra Blue, and the ever-popuiar Dana DeArmond and Kirsten Price. What's more, joining in on various activities over the course of the weekend were Sarah Shevon, Brett Rossi, Emily Addison, Victoria Lawson and Eva Angelina.  Aside from dining at the Hard Rock's Pink Taco, 35 Steaks + Martinis and other eateries, the Starlets hosted two blowout events during their stay, the first a jam-packed witching-hour party Saturday at Vanity nightclub, where they shook their goods well into the early morning at a platform booth overlooking the crowd. Then on Sunday, they joined singer Sean Paul on stage at the hotel's outdoor Beachlife pool resort for the sprawling water park's weekly Rehab party. A giant Joanna Angel-festooned banner for ImLive—the weekend's principal sponsor—hung above the bathing suit-clad and, appropriately enough, largely tattoo-bearing masses dancing and splashing away to the nonstop fist-pump tunes blaring through the air. Angel and DeArmond also sat in on a brand-new podcast for Deathsquad.tv titled "The Rehab Chronicles," with Naughty Show creator Sam Tripoli, Cort McCown and Brian Redban hosting. As partygoers filtered out of Beachlife at the end of the day, they received AVN Starlets of Summer posters autographed by all of the featured hostesses. AVN Media Network chief operations officer Janet Gibson reported that the weekend was a big success, stating, "The Hard Rock was sold out and the events went well. The group of girls there representing AVN were great to work with and it was a kick-off of great things to come in January!"
