NightMoves Announces Award Nominations & New Categories

TAMPA, Fla.—With the adult market shifting more and more to the internet, NightMoves has added several new categories to its national ballot, the first being "Best Social Media Star." This is directly determined by how well performers promote themselves to their fans via popular social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. "Best Website (Individual Performer)" and "Best Multi-Site Network" have also been added for the first time this year. In the past several years, parody movies have dominated the adult industry. NightMoves has split this genre of movies into three categories: "Best Parody—Comedy", "Best Parody—Drama" and "Best Parody—Super Hero." "There were so many great parodies released this year, it was almost unfair not to break them up," said National Features Editor and movie reviewer Art Koch. Six more new categories were included as well: "Best Boobs," "Best Ass," "Best Overall Body," "Best Latina Performer," "Best Transsexual Performer" and "Best Transsexual Release." "We decided to expand our national categories this year to celebrate our 20-year history of the NightMoves Awards Show. Our show is unique in that fans vote for their favorites via online ballot; plus, we include an 'Editors' Choice' in each category," said Paul Allen, publisher and owner of NightMoves magazine. "We spent an amazing amount of time researching our nominations and are very pleased with the outcome of the ballot this year." NightMoves proudly bills itself as one of the first fan-based awards shows in the country. During its 20-year history, stars like Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Jesse Jane, Gina Lynn, Sunny Lane, Chanel Preston, Alexis Texas and more have won awards from NightMoves. The dates for the NightMoves Awards weekend are Oct. 4-7, with the awards show to be held Sunday, Oct. 7. Pre-parties will be at Thee Dollhouse in Tampa, Bare Assets in Holiday, and Déjà vu Showgirls, also in Tampa, giving fans plenty of opportunities to meet the 30-plus performers that will be in town for the NightMoves Awards.
