Urban X Awards Releases Movie Nominees for 2012

LOS ANGELES—The Urban X Awards has unveiled its list of nominated movies in contention for 2012 awards. Taking place on Saturday July 21, 2012, the 5th Annual Urban X Awards will be held at Beyond the Stars Palace in Glendale, Calif. Coming together again to host this year's show are Nyomi Banxxx and AVN award-winning director Alexander Devoe. Urban X Awards was founded in 2008 by Giana Taylor. Her vision was to bring to the adult industry's attention that interracial and ethnic adult film was not a niche to set to the side, but a market that widely contributed to the lure of adult entertainment; therefore, it should be celebrated and awarded as such.
