East Coast News Debuts Earth Friendly Product Selection

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J.—East Coast News hopes to save the planet, one orgasm at a time. Inspired by Earth Day, the mega distributor has created a permanent section on their website featuring Earth-friendly toys and novelties. Tuning in to the voice of eco-conscious retailers and consumers, ECN believes this is a market segment that is good for the environment, and for business.  “We’ve heard from adult retailers that are dedicating entire sections of their stores to Earth-friendly items,” explained ECN’s Product Liaison Heather Rega. “We applaud this trend and want to do whatever we can to assist retailers who are looking to make a difference.” Recognizing that “eco-friendly” means different things to different people, ECN is looking at a variety of criteria when selecting products for this section. Some of the items included are organic/vegan lubes and lotions, toys made from natural materials like glass or metal, powered toys that feature rechargeable batteries, phthalate-free items and products packaged in recycled materials.  As one of the nation’s largest distributors of adult toys and novelties, East Coast News is already home to countless eco-friendly items. By creating this new section, the distributor is providing its customers a centralized location featuring those products. ECN’s Earth-friendly efforts also include plans to encourage retailers to prominently display eco-friendly options.  “We want our customers to proudly show consumers that they can be environmentally aware—even when buying sex toys,” Rega said. To check out ECN’s Earth-friendly selection, visit ECN.com and click “Earth Friendly Products” on the left. Interested retailers are encouraged to contact their ECN rep, or visit ECN.com.
