Wicked Pictures Begins Production on ‘Men in Black’ Parody

LOS ANGELES—Fresh off nine wins at the 2012 AVN Awards, Wicked Pictures and Brad Armstrong have dived full-force into their next parody project. Men in Black: A Hardcore Parody begins shooting later this week. Armstrong’s newest project has already attracted some noteworthy talent, including retired adult film star Randy Spears. The gifted actor is returning to the X-rated screen as a no-nonsense, ramrod-straight alien tracker. "It's a great role and so crucial to the story that I didn't want to make it a non-sex part,” Armstrong said of Spears’ role. “I'm very happy that Randy is returning to the business just for this performance—I really feel he'll be a perfect fit.” Spears' younger, gender-hopping sidekick will be played by Ethan Hunt. In an interesting casting twist, AVN Award-nominated industry star Misty Stone will play be playing the same character in scenes where the hyperactive agent is disguised as a female. In other casting news, 2012 AVN Award-nominated Wicked Girl Alektra Blue has been cast as a shape-shifting alien queen, while 2012 AVN Award-winning Wicked Girl Jessica Drake will be portraying a drop-dead gorgeous alien villain. And speaking of aliens, 2012 AVN award nominated Wicked Girl Kaylani Lei will be slipping into the sexy tunic of an intergalactic ambassador. For the gruff head of the covert alien-trackers, Armstrong is enlisting the services of James Bartholet, recent winner of AVN's 2012 Best Non-Sex Performance trophy for his performance in The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody. In total, the director will be employing a cast of 40 in his latest production. Other performers confirmed to be appearing include India Summer, Isis Taylor, Tommy Pistol, Wolf Hudson and Xander Corvus. And director Armstrong will be taking on a role himself, rounding out a stellar cast that also includes Mia Lelani, Nicole Aniston, Prince Yahshua and many more. The special effects required to create the movie's extraterrestrial characters are presenting the filmmaker with some unique—and expensive—production challenges. "To create our aliens, we're working exclusively with mainstream special effects artists,” Armstrong said. “Some of them are people I've collaborated with before on my earlier science fiction projects like Euphoria, while some are brand-new to me." At press time, Armstrong is supervising the intricate work of several different special effects departments. In the finished film, computer generated imagery, special effects make-up creations and practical effects will seamlessly blend to bring the bizarre monsters, invading aliens and futuristic hardware to life.     "I worked harder on The Rocki Whore Picture Show than I have on any other picture to date, and Men in Black is going to be even more challenging," Armstrong says of his next parody. "But I know we have the cast, crew and resources needed to make the best film possible."
